In a collaborative effort with the Ministry of Education and Science and the Technical University of Sofia, DSS conducted in October 2024 a cybersecurity training session for teachers, principals, and other educational professionals across Bulgaria.

Understanding the Cyber Threat Landscape: Participants gained insights into the evolving nature of cyber threats, including common vulnerabilities and attack vectors.

- Protection Against Cyberattacks: Attendees learned practical tips for identifying and preventing cyberattacks, such as phishing scams, malware infections, and ransomware.
- Detecting Vulnerabilities: The training explored tools and techniques to identify potential weaknesses in systems and networks, allowing for proactive security measures.
- Leveraging Hacker Tools for Defensive Purposes: Participants gained hands-on experience with tools commonly used by hackers, enabling them to better understand and defend against attacks.
- The Impact of AI on Cybersecurity: The session examined the potential benefits and risks of AI in cybersecurity, discussing how AI can enhance security and launch new types of attacks.
For years, DSS has aimed to strengthen cybersecurity awareness and practices within the Bulgarian education sector by equipping educators and specialists with this valuable knowledge.
Within the company as well, we place a strong emphasis on cybersecurity. For several years, we have been conducting training sessions on this topic, which include simulating real threat situations to test employees' reactions and the measures they would take in the event of an actual attack.
