At the beginning of August, DSS celebrated a significant milestone—our 7th birthday! As the saying goes, the first seven years are the most important, and in this time, we've managed to build a company where people not only develop their skills but are genuinely valued and have fun while working. We're proud of our shared journey, filled with moments we only dreamed of.
The celebration was a perfect blend of reflection on our achievements and excitement for the future. A special cake marked three significant milestones from this year:
- Becoming a ServiceNow partner
- Launching our first product for automated Identity Verification - aIDentix
- Achieving steady growth
These accomplishments were celebrated with a symbolic candle-blowing, and we wished each other many more successes to come.
To add flavor to the festivities, we had Brunch Burgers, who prepared delicious burgers on the spot, accompanied by craft beer on tap. The party's theme was "Cowboys," perfectly complementing the burger feast. Cowboy hats and toy guns added a fun and playful touch to the event, making it a memorable experience for everyone.
Our CEO, Plamen Nakov, gave the team a short but heartfelt address, acknowledging the hard work and dedication that has brought us this far. Following this, we had a little surprise for everyone—a basket of gifts! Each person could choose a gift and give it to a colleague as a token of appreciation. It was heartwarming, as many colleagues shared what they valued in each other, particularly the support and help they've received. All 30+ gifts were successfully distributed, spreading joy and gratitude across the team.
Adding to the surprise, one of our major key accounts made a special appearance, bringing a large festive hamper and joining us in the celebration. Their presence underscored the strong relationships we've built over the years, further enhancing the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere of the evening.
The event was a testament to the strong culture we've cultivated at DSS—a place where achievements are celebrated and people are at the heart of everything we do. Here's to many more years of success, growth, and fun at DSS!
