DSS was honoured to be represented at the prestigious Forbes DNA of Success Forum & Awards 2024. Our General Manager, Plamen Nakov, was invited to participate as a panellist due to his recognition as a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree and winner in the "Business Managers" category for the class of 2023.
Forbes DNA of Success is a key event in Bulgaria's entrepreneurial landscape, designed to foster a thriving business culture. It combines a forum with an awards ceremony celebrating the country's most exceptional entrepreneurs. The forum features insightful presentations, lectures, discussions, and interviews with industry leaders, providing valuable insights into the factors contributing to business success and failure.
Alongside Plamen, Boris Petrov, DSS's Development Tech Lead, also attended the event, networking with other industry professionals and expanding his professional connections.
The panel discussion that Plamen participated in was titled "Young Entrepreneurs in the Fast Lane: Plamen Nakov and Martin Kuvandjiev from the 30 Under 30 Selection." As part of the "Pass it on" segment, the panelists explored the theme "The mission of business is to create happiness, not to accumulate profits." This discussion aligned perfectly with DSS's commitment to sharing knowledge, skills, and professional experience with younger talents.
Plamen later had the honour of presenting an award to Dimitar Shikov, CEO of Home Infinity DS Ltd., a remarkable Under 30 Entrepreneur.
Just a day after this remarkable event, a DSS team conducted a lecture for first-year students at TU-Sofia as part of an Introduction to Information and Computer Technologies course. During this lecture, the DSS team discussed the benefits of university education, the needs of the business world, career navigation, skill development, and the qualities companies seek in new hires. We also provided insights into our projects, technology stack, internship opportunities, and career growth paths at DSS, answering questions from the students along the way.
